Job Description
Senior Stimulation Engineer- Ahmadi, Kuwait
My client is a global provider of products services to the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Due to an expanding project in Ahmadi, Kuwait, my client is now looking for a highly experienced Senior Stimulation Engineer for a 12-month contract. This will be based in Kuwait on a residential basis.
A successful candidate for the Senior Stimulation Engineer role will have many responsibilities. These will include:
• Being responsible for performing short risk analysis.
• Perform geomechanical model.
• Perform fracture design for the three potential reservoirs.
• Be able to provide useful input in relation to completion, perforation, proppant type, fluid receipt, etc.
• Provide HF candidate zone selection recommendation.
• Sensitive/ uncertainty analysis.
• Perform a post job production potential.
Requirements:
• Educated in reservoir or production studies.
• Masters’ degree or equivalent in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• 8 years’ experience in the field (fracture stimulation design).
• Experience in similar reservoir properties (CHAAL context is preferred).
• Reporting proficiency.
• Fluent in English.
